Like a Family
Here at First Assembly, you're a part of the family. One of our core values is to create a welcoming place for fellowship, which starts with each and every one of us! There are no strangers, just friends we are just now meeting!
Preparing the Future
Children are the future of the church, so we strive to provide teaching for all ages. From classes, to VBS, to Campfire Nights, your children will find a place to grow.
Nursery
We understand that it can be difficult to focus on the service while keeping your children content. We offer nursery care for all services where your young children can play and learn about the Bible. We also have a speaker system and a one-way window so the nursery workers can listen to the service. Our nursery was remodeled in 2023 and is even more calm and cozy than before.
Have Fun!
While it is important to learn about God, kids just need to have some time to play! We are very proud of our playground, and we can attest all our kids look forward to outside time.
Food & Fellowship
We are firm believers that some of the best fellowship happens over a delicious meal. With beautiful weather we enjoy our potluck meals and hotdog cookouts almost as much as the company at our covered picnic shelter. We have an indoor facility as well for when it rains or just gets too hot.
Worship with Us
It takes a lot of work to keep a church building clean, warm, and inviting. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel comfortable in every way. We are blessed that many step up to lend their time and skills to keep our facilities ready at all times.
Road Trip!
Several years back we were able to take a church group to visit the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. This was a great time to build friendships and experience Bible history with our own eyes. It's time for another trip... will you be there?
